Radio Fails to Transmit After Being in Demo Mode Using PowerSDR

  System Dependencies
  Minimum PowerSDR Version:     1.X.0
  Applicable Hardware:     All transceivers

When PowerSDR  is configured to operate in Demo Mode, either by being manually configured to do so or when PowerSDR 1.x can not communicate with the radio hardware and the user defaults to Demo Mode, it sets the Receive Only configuration parameter to enabled.  This is done by design since there is no radio hardware connected and transmitting is not possible.

When PowerSDR 1.x is changed out of Demo mode after communication to the radio hardware has been re-established, the Receive Only configuration parameter stays in the enabled state, whereby preventing the radio to transmit.

You must manually disable the Receive Only configuration parameter in the Setup form.

Procedure
  1. From PowerSDR 1.x menu bar, select Setup
  2. Open the General->Hardware Config tab
  3. Un-check the Receive Only check box.
  4. Click on the OK button to save and close the Setup form
